During our initial consultation with this customer, she advised us that she hadn’t used the current en-suite for several years due to leaks from the shower and issues with the toilet.
Her vision for the new space was something fully tiled with a modern feel.
The works within the room included the following:
- Complete strip out, including all of the existing tiles from the floor and walls
- Retention of the existing coving
- Flooring repairs where the existing floor had become damaged due to water ingress
- Overboarding all of the walls in 6mm tile backer board due to the existing quality, and giving a new firm base for the following tiles
- Complete tiling from floor to ceiling in a brick bond style.
- Complete plumbing installation to relocate the shower, heating and vanity.
- All new sanitaryware, including shower, tray, enclosure, WC, vanity with counter top sink and heated towel rail.
The room was finished off with final decoration and new downlights to brighten the space
